D. Rashaad
An Eagle Scout, and Multimediaist, born in Macon, Ga. Growing up he was always fascinated in becoming a health physician aiming to support and heal people in his community. Due to his admiration of the medical profession inscribed ”Dr” at the beginning of his signature at the end of of his earliest paintings.
He was educated in the Baldwin County/Jones County (Georgia) School System and a graduate of Jones County High School. As a self-taught multimedialist, D. Rashaad has predominantly worked with traditional and nontraditional materials since he was six years of age.
He learned various media practices through years of studying under Allied Arts of Milledgeville, Georgia to expand his horizons. And that has been his goal ever since.
He still has great respect for the medical profession to this day.
Mr. Rashaad’s output differingly ranges from soul chilling scenes to high energy and psychedelic elements . Many of which derived from evocative obscure dreams.
Due to a love of nature and botanical life, and his admiration for the Autumn Sesasons; D. Rashaad further incorporates a vast arsenal of vibrant elegantly crafted seasonal color motifs to deliver dimension and emotion to his scenes.
